To mark the momentous occasion of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, NEO Media Group is proud to partner with members of the Indo‑Canadian community to bring the celebrations to Ottawa on April 27, 2022.

India will be celebrating its 75th year of independence from August 15, 2021, to August 15, 2022, and, to bring Ottawa into this celebration, we will be organizing a special event near the culmination of the celebration year. A Gala dinner, combined with a cultural evening, will bring together the community on April 27 to join the global Indian community in a shared celebration.

At 1.3 million plus, Indo‑Canadians are widely recognized as one of the strongest ethnic communities in Canada, and celebrated for their professional contributions and societal impact. The event will not only bring profile to a seminal occasion, but also make a case for how the Indian community is impacting the Canadian Society in a positive and creative manner.
